Overview

The average production timeline is 2 – 4+ business days on most products, and some products are further delayed noted on the individual product page.  *Bulk orders of $200+ are 5-7 business days.  The day an order is placed is day 0, and the next business day is day 1 of production.

*Bulk Orders:

Orders over $200 are considered bulk orders.  Special bulk order packaging may be required to ensure the safe delivery of your items.  Deluxe and individual product packaging – gift boxes, cello, ribbon, and solo product packaging and labels are not included in bulk orders.  Custom packaging slips, messages, and exterior box label is included.  The production time for bulk orders is 5-7 business days, and Express Production may be available on bulk orders for additional fees.

 

IMPORTANT!  Please note our Holiday Production Timeline starts on November 15th.  Production time may be extended.

Our default shipping method is via US Postal Service.  The Cooking Apprentice reserves the right to select an *alternate carrier or shipping method (different from the carrier selected by you at checkout) so long as it does not result in an additional charge to you, the customer, or result in the order being delayed beyond the parameters set forth below.

*NOTE FedEx is not able to ship to PO Boxes.  Anytime you need to ship an order to a PO Box, items will ship via USPS by default.

Due to Covid-19, shipping and carriers may be delayed or changed per carrier guidelines and discrepancies. The Cooking Apprentice does not guarantee estimated shipping carrier timelines.  Domestic shipments generally arrive at their desired location within 2-8 business days of the ship date, depending on the shipping method you select.  All delivery timelines listed at checkout are estimates only and may vary.  Shipping carriers may experience delays that are beyond the estimated arrival date.  The Cooking Apprentice has no control over shipping carrier delays.  The Cooking Apprentice cannot replace an order or refund shipping fees due to delays once an order is in the carrier’s possession.  If a carrier experiences mass carrier delays, we will convey the information we receive via an update on our website.  If you order in bulk, your items may ship in multiple boxes. 

 

Return Policy

Damaged during shipping:

If your item(s) is damaged during transit, please notify us within 5 Business Days.  Upon approval of your claim, your replacement item will be replaced and shipped ASAP.

Completed orders:

Once your order is placed online, it cannot be canceled for any reason.  Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions about product returns, discrepancies, back-ordered items, or anything else.

The buyer will bear all return shipping charges unless the item is returned because of a manufacturer’s defect.  Reshipment fees apply to all returned packages due to an undeliverable address.  Credit for shipping charges will be given at the end of the refund process.  The Cooking Apprentice will refund USPS GROUND SHIPPING charges on returns for defects.  ANY OTHER METHOD OF RETURN SHIPPING WILL NOT BE GRANTED.

Replacements:

If a product is deemed defective, a complete inspection of products returned will take place to determine the authentication of a request.  If an item is approved for replacement, the original sales order receipt/number must accompany the returned item.  Items replaced will be identical to the original order and have the same design unless The Cooking Apprentice determines that a change would be beneficial.
