No Frills Filipino-style Pork BBQ (with some fixins)!

This is how I like my BBQ…easy peasy, no frills straight up all-protein version!
Make approximately 15 pieces
  1. In a large bowl or Ziploc bag combine approx. 2 lbs of pork stewing meat with 1/4 cup of Mama Sita Liquid Marinating Sauce and 2 cloves chopped garlic. Refrigerate for 48-hrs.
  2. Place about 4 pieces each in wooden skewers that’s been soaked in water for a day (to prevent splinters). Drizzle with fresh lemon and brush with Jufran’s Banana Sauce. Grill until pork is fully cooked, about 45 minutes or so.
Sidebars include grilled vine tomatoes, pickled artichokes, fresh cilantro, and my favorite concoction of chopped red onions, garlic, and soy sauce mixture.  Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Serve warm with your favorite side dishes, salad, or with white rice 😉
