Here’s a healthy alternative to frying ravioli…and less of a mess, too!
-1/2 cup panko dry bread crumbs (or Italian style dry bread crumbs)
-1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-1 tbsp Italian herb seasoning (if using panko style bread crumbs)
-1/2 cup crème fraîche (or sour cream)
-1/4 cup milk
-48 small refrigerated cheese-filled ravioli (or 24 large)
-3/4 cup marinara sauce, warmed
1. Heat oven to 375°F. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, and Italian herb seasoning in medium bowl.
2. Combine crème fraîche and milk in small bowl. Dip ravioli in sour cream mixture, then in bread crumb mixture to coat evenly.
3. Place ravioli on nonstick baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes or until ravioli are crisp and lightly browned. Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce and garlic bread (optional)
